Getting started
Time Card records when you work on your device and shows estimated pay based on hourly settings. It is meant for personal use, not as a replacement for a company-wide attendance system.
- Install the app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Open the Settings tab → Workplaces and register a workplace name, hourly wage, and other options (a setup dialog may appear on first launch).
- On the Home tab, tap Clock in / Clock out to record your work.
- On the Monthly tab, review hours and estimated pay for the month.
Data is stored on your device by default. Before changing phones, use Backup & restore (described below).

Home screen widget
On iPhone and Android you can add a home screen widget to punch in/out without opening the full app (steps and appearance vary by OS and device).
- Add the Time Card widget from your device’s home screen settings.
- In the app: Settings → Home screen widget — choose automatic or fixed workplace for punches, and whether to show estimated monthly pay on the widget.
- Use the widget buttons to clock in or out.
Widget layout and size follow your OS. If the widget does not work as expected, use the Home tab inside the app.
Backup & restore
Settings → Backup & restore lets you back up data when you choose. Nothing is sent to the cloud automatically.
- Android — Back up and restore via Google Drive (Google sign-in may be required).
- iPhone — Back up and restore via iCloud (iPhone to iPhone). To move from Android to iPhone, check the in-app instructions for Google Drive.
- We recommend backing up before changing devices or reinstalling the app.
Export & share (CSV)
From Settings → Mail delivery settings (and related screens), you can export monthly data and share it via Mail, Files, or other apps. Follow the on-screen instructions for format and destination.
Sharing uses your device’s apps only. The developer does not receive your exported files or email content.
